2 Georgia Chefs up for Award

Hugh Acheson of Five and Ten in Athens and Linton Hopkins, from Restaurant Eugene here in Atlanta are both finalists for the James Beard Foundation’s Award for Best Chef in the Southeast.

I have visited Five and Ten several times and each has been a great experience.  Look out soon for a review of Restaurant Eugene, it’s towards the top of my hotlist.  One thing I know these chefs have in common is their affinity for local and seasonal ingredients.
